Circuit Paul Ricard
The Circuit Paul Ricard is a French motorsport race track located in Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille. It was built in 1969 with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard, who wanted to experience the challenge of building a racetrack. The circuit hosted the Formula One French Grand Prix intermittently from 1971 to 2022, and the French motorcycle Grand Prix intermittently from 1973 to 1999. It currently hosts the Bol d'Or motorcycle race since 2015, and rounds of the European Le Mans Series and GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup.
